Bolat: The Retail Trade Volume in Our Country is Increasing Its Share Year by Year

The Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, stated that the retail trade volume in Turkey is increasing its share every year.

In his remarks on platform X, Bolat said: "We met with Murat Günday, the President of the All Store Association of Entrepreneur Businesspeople (TÜMBİR), and the board members to discuss the developments in the retail sector, steps to enhance competitiveness, the impacts of e-retailing in the sector, and proposed solutions to the sector's problems.

As emphasized at the 'E-commerce and Retail Summit' held in Istanbul last month, the retail trade volume in our country is increasing its share every year.

As the Ministry of Trade, our support for the transformation of all sectors, especially the retail sector, in line with global trade transformation trends will continue to strengthen, ensuring they are ready for an effective and sustainable competitive environment."
